Marriott Hotels has finished a multi-million-pound renovation of Marriott Marble Arch, its hotel in Marylebone, central London. The work covered all 247 guestrooms, as well as the lobby, event facilities, Executive Lounge and fitness centre.

The interiors were designed by Trevillion. According to Marriott, the design was based on the hotel's position between Hyde Park, Marble Arch and Marylebone. Public spaces have been reconfigured into separate areas for work, relaxation and socialising.

The guestrooms have been redesigned with contemporary interiors, modern bathrooms, upgraded technology, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs and Marriott signature bedding. The renovation also adds a new Executive City View room category.

The hotel now has six meeting rooms across 247 sq m of event space, all with natural daylight, and a dedicated floor for meetings and the Executive Lounge. The event spaces can hold up to 150 guests. A refurbished 24-hour fitness centre has Technogym equipment, and a new wellness studio will run classes ranging from yoga to personal training.

Sean Kelly, general manager of Marriott Marble Arch, said: "This multi-million investment represents a significant milestone for Marriott Marble Arch and demonstrates our confidence in the strength of London's hospitality market."

The hotel has an on-site underground car park and its own restaurant and bar, which is a British gastropub. Room rates start from £249, Marriott said.
