Barratt Redrow has put 168 private apartments on sale at its Colindale Gardens development in north London, part of a regeneration scheme for the area.

The homes, called The Gardenia Collection, are a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom flats. They sit a short walk from Colindale Underground Station and are among the closest homes in the development to the Northern Line. The trip to King's Cross St Pancras takes about 22 minutes.

Barratt London's director of sales and marketing said the block is one of the later phases to launch at Colindale Gardens, so buyers will move into a development that already has a settled community. She said the collection is the nearest to the station, has private landscaped gardens, and offers views towards Wembley from its upper floors.

The 12-storey building has a gym, a sauna, a steam room and a 24-hour concierge with secure parcel storage. Every apartment has outdoor space, and some come with an allocated parking space.

The wider scheme is meant to pair new housing with transport upgrades, green spaces and community facilities. Barratt Redrow said the development has nine acres of green space open to all residents, with an orchard garden and a large park that contains a woodland adventure gym. A new primary school is being provided on site, and shops, cafés and restaurants are nearby.

Prices for a one-bedroom apartment in The Gardenia Collection start at £355,000.
