Boyes Turner, the Reading-based law firm, has appointed Emily Neale as its new head of residential property, further strengthening a property team that has held a coveted Tier 1 ranking in the Legal 500 for 11 consecutive years.

Neale steps into the role as a partner, bringing with her a wealth of experience from her previous position as head of the residential property and new homes team at Seymour Parkes.

With 13 years of expertise spanning the Thames Valley, London, and sought-after locales across England and Wales, Neale has built a strong reputation advising a diverse clientele, from high-net-worth individuals to investors, trusts, and companies.

Known for navigating high-value and intricate property deals, she aims to inject fresh innovation into Boyes Turner while fostering closer ties with the firm’s private client and real estate groups.

Barry Stanton, managing partner at Boyes Turner , welcomed her arrival with enthusiasm.

“Emily’s appointment reflects the continued expansion and strength of our real estate team,” he said. “She brings a real entrepreneurial and energetic mindset with her, sharing our commitment to being truly strategic partners to our clients. Her talent for developing brilliant people will also be exciting as the group strengthens its position as the go-to real estate team in the Thames Valley.”

Neale, for her part, is eager to seize the opportunities ahead.

“I joined Boyes Turner because it is a firm which is in an exciting space of growth and innovation,” she remarked. “It is taking bold steps, and I am keen to be part of a group that has its focus on the future. The residential property team already has a great reputation for its work and has a long-standing client base, as well as referrals from contacts locally and from afar. I’m looking to build on that, with a focus on gaining a reputation for providing the most modern conveyancing service around.”

Her appointment underscores Boyes Turner’s drive to cement its standing in the Thames Valley property market, blending tradition with forward-thinking ambition as Neale takes the helm of the residential division.
